Supercell premiered its newest brawl talk on April 19, 2025 on YouTube. The brawl talk video unveiled a groundbreaking new brawler rarity - Ultra Legendary, a geisha Brawler, a singer Brawler, eight fan-favorite hypercharges, and a variety of new skins and themed skins!

Brawl Stars Maintenance Break Today

Brawl Stars is now going through maintenance for some background improvements and bug fixes. The maintenance is expected to continue for over 2-3 hours.

🔥Kaze --- NEW!!

First-ever Ultra Legendary Brawler | A Deadly Shuriken Fighter

She switches between Geisha and Ninja forms to dominate the battle.

In her GEISHA form:

• Kaze’s Super creates a zone that reduces enemy visibility and damages foes attempting to leave it.
• Her Star Powers can slow enemies or drain their ammo, while her Gadgets boost her Ninja side with speed and invisibility.

After transforming into a NINJA:

• She deals more damage at close range by wielding her shurikens.
• Her Super marks enemies for delayed burst damage, with Star Powers that cause marked enemies to explode on defeat or extend status effects.
• She performs a healing or an escape dash by using her Gadgets.

Kaze Ninja Form

Kaze’s Hypercharges enhance both Geisha and Ninja forms. Her hypercharge skill allows her to:

• deal damage over time in the Geisha Super’s center
• trigger instant marked damage with a dash speed boost.

🔥Jae-yong --- NEW!!

Karaoke Music Lover | A Terrible Singer

The second new Brawler is Jae-yong, who has no singing talents but insists he is an amazing singer. When he's not singing, players can find him sitting in front of an office desk.

In Jae-yong's PARTY time:

• His attacks heal his allies, though he is a singer with a terrible voice.

He can also shift to a WORK pattern:

• Under a work mode, Jae attacks his enemies and gives his teammates a speed-up boost.

Also, his Star Powers and Gadgets enhance these two modes.

New Themed Event

Katana Kingdom Event --- NEW!!

It's a Japanese-ninja themed activity that will last 4 weeks in the NEXT UPDATE.

The main story of the Katana Kingdom Event centers on Kenji’s sushi recipe experiment gone wrong, affecting the park. New Wasabi Powers mechanic will grant temporary buffs to Brawlers who consume Sushi Rolls, with 60 unique powers ranging from speed boosts to new abilities like auto-shooting or reload buffs. Players can track progress on a Sushi Meter to earn exclusive rewards, including the Oni Kenji Hypercharge Skin.

Brawler MOBA Mode

Brawl Arena --- NEW!!

A MOBA-inspired mode teased for the June 2025 season, "Crush the Kaiju."

This new MOBA mode brings a wealth of new playable content, including in-match leveling, jungle bots, towers, and a powerful Kaiju monster. Each of the online match in this Brawler MOBA mode are designed to last about five minutes, blending fast-paced action with strategic depth.

New Team Modes

Plus, 2 brand-new game modes introduced:

Samurai Smash --- NEW!!

• Fight in 5v5 or 3v3.
• This point-control mode features hostile samurai bots attacking both teams.

Oni Hunt --- NEW!!

• 3v3 boss fight.
• Enjoy a monster-boss battle where 3 players must defeat a Hypercharged Kenji in a team.
• Players will earn sushi rolls by completing increasingly difficult daily stages.

New Hypercharges

Eight Hypercharges --- NEW!!

8 Brawlers, including the new geisha brawler KAZE, will be granted unique hypercharges:

• Gus: Spirits inflict area damage and provide healing to teammates in all directions.
• Lily: Super bounces off walls, creating a realm for teleportation.
• Clancy: Paintballs act as boomerangs, damaging enemies twice.
• Amber: Her oil burns continuously after being lit.
• Willow: Achieves invincibility while manipulating an enemy.
• Griff: Coins return and penetrate through enemies a second time.
• Kenji: Super now teleports him and draws enemies closer.
